Research summary
This is an international, multicentre, prospective cohort study for various forms of lower limb differences with long-term follow-up to skeletal maturity with a focus on clinical, radiological, functional and HRQL outcomes. The purpose of the study is to evaluate clinical and patient-reported outcomes associated with current management strategies for paediatric limb differences across multiple centres. The study is non-interventional and will not influence clinical decision-making, treatment allocation, or standard care pathways. We aim to longitudinally analyse patients' outcomes through the standard clinical care they receive at their local healthcare trusts.
Data will be recorded in condition-specific Research Electronic Data Capture database (REDCap) projects within the international limb differences (ILDR) framework to ensure that the data inputted is specific and clinically relevant to the disease process to streamline data entry across the multiple centres in UK.
