  • Research summary

The study looks at the variability of the antral follicle count (number of follicles in the ovary that has the potential to produce eggs at a particular time) and two other hormone tests (Follicle Stimulating Hormone, Anti Mullerian Hormone), in women during different menstrual cycles. This study also looks at the IVF outcomes in these women to see any correlation. The aim of the study is to see if such variability exists and if it does whether this can be exploited to improve fertility treatment for women. The study also looks at how acceptable such treatment will be for women.
