• Data collection arrangements

  Routinely collected healthcare data from an individual of any age recorded through healthcare with UHCW or any of its services.
  Any individual who has chosen not to opt out of the secondary use of their data via the national data opt-out.
  Any data collected during standard clinical care which is contained within the Trusts IT systems and databases at UHCW.
  Any data that has been collected / generated from ethically approved research studies, with explicit consent to be used for future research.
  Datasets will be provided under specified access arrangements for pre-specified time periods in line with the nature of the projects, which will be specified in the data sharing agreements. Most requests, reviews and released documentation will be stored for 5 years to allow audit and scrutiny of decision-making procedures

• Research programme

  INTERACT is a research programme that will support University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW) in being able to offer anonymised health data to researchers and clinicians who are dedicated to using data to improve patient treatment as well as improving the general health and wellbeing of the public.
