Research summary
This will be a one-arm, single-blind, fixed order, within-subjects study in up to 25 healthy volunteers. All volunteers will attend a screening visit before being enrolled in the study. The volunteers will then undergo: 1) baseline visit (inc. fMRI); 2) 1mg psilocybin (placebo) dosing session (inc. EEG); 3) a one-day post placebo visit (inc. fMRI); 4) 4 weeks post-placebo follow-up visit; 5) 25mg psilocybin dosing session (inc. EEG); 6) one day post 25mg psilocybin visit; 7) 4 weeks post 25mg psilocybin follow-up visit (inc. fMRI & primary endpoint).
