Research summary
This study will utilise two semi-structured focus groups to explore the information and self-management support needs of people living with Osteoporosis. Health professionals’ perspectives will be sought via one group and those of people living with osteoporosis via another group. The participants will either work in, or have attended osteoporosis related services within one health care organisation. Participants will be asked to draw on their own experiences to identify the support and information they believe is important. Themes and common threads will be identified, analysed and reported using thematic analysis of data collected during the focus groups.
