Research summary
This research will explore the experience of communication informal carers, friends and family supporting an individual with mental health difficulties, have with the John Denmark unit (JDU). The JDU is an in-patient and community mental health service for individuals who are deaf. This research will help the JDU have an understanding of how they are communicating with informal carers and what can be done to improve communication.
