Research summary
Femoro-Acetabular Impingement (FAI) is a frequent disease predisposing the hip to symptomatic labral tears and hip osteoarthritis. Nevertheless, the pathophysiology of impingement is not fully elucidated. The answer might lie in the individual pelvic kinematics, which is a new parameter under investigation for its relationship with development of symptomatic FAI.We will compare symptomatic and asymptomatic, operated or not patients with regards for their lumbo-pelvic parameters in order to determine the risk factor to develop the disease
