• Research summary

  Already existing and coded tumor biological material and personal health-related data of patients who have been diagnosed with Splenic Marginal Zone Lymphoma and who have experienced a change in the characteristics of the disease, called “transformation” (t-SMZL), will be collected retrospectively. The value of the expected results of the IELSG54 study are: i) clarify the molecular and clinical characteristics of t-SMZL; ii) identify different groups of t-SMZL; iii) inform on diagnosis and prognosis of t-SMZL; iv) identify new therapeutic targets and provide new insights on design of future clinical trial on SMZL and t-SMZL.
