  • Research summary

This study is looking at people who have been admitted to hospital with heart failure. Heart failure is a condition where the heart cannot pump blood around the body as well as it should. This study aims to see if heart and kidney MRI scans done before leaving the hospital can help identify which patients with heart failure are at risk of ongoing fluid build up, worsening symptoms, or needing to come back to the hospital. By finding better ways to check for these risks, we hope to improve treatment and help patients stay healthier after they go home.
