Research summary
This study aims to validate the Haemophilia Joint Health Score (HJHS) across the full age range. The study will use the HJHS v2.1 to assess joint scores for 200 adult males with haemophilia A or B and 120 adult males with no haemophilia. The results will be evaluated by examining the correlations and contrasting the related constructs between the groups in order to validate the HJHS v2.1 tool across the whole age range. Participants will attend one study visit, lasting approximately 2.5hours for haemophilia particiapnts and 75 mins for non-haemophilia participants and undergo a series of non-invasive procedures and questionnaires. The study is aniticipated to last no longer than 24 months.
