Research summary
The research is a large observational prospective international study called “Heart Failure Phase III (HFIII) registry”. The purpose of this registry is to evaluate which investigations and treatments patients with heart failure are receiving in different countries and settings within Europe and in other countries in the world. The research will lead to practical recommendations to improve treatment of heart failure. This study is being conducted in approximately 40 countries involving 250 research centres. It is anticipated that about 10.000 patients 18 years age or older with Chronic and Acute Heart Failure will participate.
