  • Research summary

Coronary artery disease (CAD) is a leading cause of death worldwide. Early detection is crucial for preventing heart attacks and stroke. Traditional diagnostic approaches such as angiograms can be expensive and invasive and incur long delays because of waiting lists and accessibility to specialist services.

This preliminary study explores whether data from smartphones and wearable devices, combined with information from a person's medical record, could be used in the community to identify whether participants have underlying CAD.
