Research summary
We have discovered that some people have an antibody in their blood which can affect the way they react to some medicines, and may make them feel unwell. It is important when developing new medicines to understand how these antibodies may affect the medicine. In this study we would like to take a blood sample from patients who have high levels of a specific antibody and carry out some tests in the laboratory to help us to understand if giving the new medicine to people who have these antibodies might make them feel unwell.
