• Data collection arrangements

  Consent will be obtained and kept in a study file at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Samples will be taken at a number of hospitals and delivered to the Royal Marsden hospital within 2 hours where they will be processed, logged onto DataPro (for samples) and stored.
  A questionnaire on lifestyle will be completed by the pariticipants and this questionnaire will be stored in the study file at the Royal Marsden Hospital and the data entered onto a database and linked to the unique reference number linked to the blood samples.

  The search for a blood test to support early diagnosis is a theme of the Royal Marsden Hospital Biomedical Research Centre research programme.
