Research summary
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the gastrointestinal (GI) tolerance, palatability and compliance to a new thickened drink, Enthick Clear powder, to assure safe swallowing in patients at risk. This is a gum-based thickener that is similar to other thickeners in the market. These data are required to support reimbursement submission in the UK to allow for prescription in the community.
