Data collection arrangements
The Grampian Population Platform is a collection of NHS Grampian health data sets and University of Aberdeen cohort study data sets from which extracts are often used for data linkage research studies. The data is collected routinely as part of the provision of NHS Grampian services or as part of a specific research cohort study. The Grampian Data Safe Haven (DaSH) provides the data linkage service and secure access to anonymised linked data for academic researchers.
Research programme
Health data scientists from recognised academic institutions across the United Kingdom will use the database and the DaSH service.
