  • Research summary

    This study will compare compression stockings and the geko™ device in increasing blood circulation and the prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT)during the hospital stay of patients requiring a Total Hip Replacement. A follow-up visit with be conducted six weeks after the operation to assess if there is any long term benefits to the patient having used the device during their hospital stay.
