Data collection arrangements
A federated learning platform is being setup with several NHS Trusts to train AI. The training data, which will be de-identified, will not leave the Trusts and will only be accessed and curated by software and members of the direct care team. Project teams will only see aggregated, anonymised datasets which they will review to ensure the dataset is appropriate. All projects will be reviewed by a Data Allocation Committee that will contain senior Trust governance staff and members of the public, and all projects will have contracts.
Research programme
Research applications will be reviewed by the Data Allocation Committee within the AI Centre, which will include governance members of the Partner NHS Trusts. Individual project teams will depend on the project.
