  • Research summary

This project aims to investigate the feasibility and acceptability of a group, CBT-based intervention for individuals with bipolar disorder delivered remotely using videoconferencing technology at one centre within the UK. This study will use a mixed method, waiting list control design with repeated measures over time. The primary outcome measure is recovery, indicated by scores on the Bipolar Recovery Questionnaire. Secondary outcomes include depressive, anxiety and manic symptomology and days in crisis over the course of the intervention. Results will be analysed using linear mixed effects modelling in an unbalanced repeated measures design.
