Research summary
Acute Urinary Retention (an inability pass urine) is common after Stroke. This study will explore the factors associated with Acute Urinary retention of patients who present with acute ischaemic stroke and who received thrombolysis. The study will be a retrospective cohort study, examining the medical records of up to 140 patients who were thrombolysed during the years 2014-2016 at the researcher's trust.
