  • Research summary

Vasculitis patients often suffer severe fatigue. Currently there are no proven treatments, but increasing physical activity helps reduce fatigue in other conditions and may help patients with vasculitis.

Prior to undertaking a trial of physical activity along with behaviour change support, we need more information to decide whether it is possible to do such a trial. We need to know whether we can recruit patients, whether they stick to the protocol and what the impact of the study on patients’ fatigue levels is. This small feasibility study and the focus groups will help us understand what patients think about the intervention and its impact.
