  • Research summary

This phase of fieldwork aims to use auto-ethnography (a creative writing research practice) to provide a qualitative exploration of Support Worker subjectivity (feeling and experiences) during moments of practice. I plan to write retrospective accounts drawn from my own professional experience as a Support Worker at The Markfield Project in London (Markfield is a community centre and registered charity for disabled people in Haringey) and then conduct an informal consultation with service users/staff/supporters people about these writing pieces to collect views, opinions and comments.
