    Within a modern multi-cultural society and a global world, individuals have the ability to move from country to country. Within the European Union, member states have the right to move freely within the European Union. To fully understand the impact of mental health care in the UK on Eastern European migrants it is important to understand the system in Eastern Europe as a starting point
    To explore the cultural aspects of Eastern Europeans experiencing dual diagnosis (mental health and substance misuse), by identifying the differences between ethnicity and dual diagnosis needs in the adult mental health population. To seek the views of clients from Eastern European backgrounds and british who access mental health services and explore the cultural needs. To seek the views of third sector agencies, and local support organisations regarding perceptions, barriers and facilitators to accessing treatment.
