This is a pilot study that aims to evaluate the access to and quality of support for adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autistic adults who identify as transgender by answering the following research questions:
1) What were the experiences of individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autistic people when they first disclosed they identified as transgender?
2) What are the support needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autistic adults who identify as transgender?
3) What support services have been accessed, and to what extent are these considered appropriate and effective by this group of adults?REC name
