Research summary
There is limited research available looking at service-users’ experiences of accessing generic CMHTs and research that has been done focuses on specific elements of care within CMHTs or on specific populations who access them. This study aims to explore the experiences of accessing care from a CMHT and the factors that impact their experiences of care. A semi-structured interview will be used to interview 12 to 18 participants who currently access care from a CMHT or who have recently been discharged. The project will use reflexive thematic analysis to analyse the data.
