Research summary
This research project will undertake to explore the following question, ‘What is the experience of adolescents of Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy?’. Participants will be recruited from within the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust (from teams within the trust as well as the Patient Liaison Services) and will be required to participate in a semi-structured interview. During the course of the interview, should the participant feel that they have more that they would like to contribute, a second interview lasting one hour will take place. This is a qualitative study that will use Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis to analyse the data.
