Research summary
This study is designed to explore patient's experiences of having Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD), with regard to their experiences and the medical events that occur. This is important because NAFLD is a common disease but only rarely leads to serious liver-related events. In view of this, the value of diagnosing NAFLD in most people needs to be firmly established. The EON study will help us to understand how a diagnosis of NAFLD affects people, with regard to their quality of life, changes to their lifestyle and clinical outcomes.
