Research summary
In-depth interviews will be used to investigate young people's experiences and expectations of the process of transition from CAMHS to adult mental health services. Eligible participants are young people who are currently engaged in the last stages of CAMHS care provision, beginning at 17.5 years of age, and who are willing to be contacted for research purposes. These interviews will take place at each individual participant's convenience - researchers will be available to meet with participants at their community mental health services and in private spaces provided by South Bank University. The study will continue until approximately 25 interviews have been conducted.
