Research summary
This study is an evaluation of the Carers' Pilot Programme run by the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE). The evaluation involves: site visits to 9 different pilot sites across the UK, telephone interviews with carers, those who are cared for, stakeholders involved in the pilots, and employers; an online/phone census survey of carers; and an impact evaluation involving Impact evaluation covering cost benefit analysis (CBA), value for money (VFM), and social return on investment (SROI).
The part of this study we are applying for ethical approval of are the interviews with cared for people.
