Research summary
KINETIC is designed as a prospective, multi-centre, cohort study undertaken in accordance with the Tenets of the Declaration of Helsinki.
The purpose is to define standardised perimetry programmes for the detection of visual field loss in commonly occurring neurological conditions; specifically, chiasmal compression, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, stroke and optic neuropathy which most frequently cause visual field loss.
The primary aim is to assess in a clinical study the top visual field test programmes inclusive of central and/or peripheral vision (per condition) and evaluate diagnostic accuracy of these programmes in detection of visual field loss.REC name
