Research summary
The aim of this research is to undertake evaluation of new and emerging magnetic resonance (MR) techniques in patients and healthy volunteers following software or hardware upgrades, as well as for newly developed MR techniques; to establish their feasibility, image quality and/or measurement repeatability/ reproducibility. The evaluation is purely observational and will be carried out in patients at the Royal Marsden Hospital (RMH) and normal volunteers. RMH patients will undergo an MR examination with additional measurements as part of their routine clinical examination or an additional MR examination. Healthy volunteers will also undertake an MR examination.
A total of 2850 patients and volunteers will be recruited over 10 years.REC name
