Research summary
This study will investigate the use of "Dora," an AI-powered telephone assistant, to support patients and clinicians within Fracture Liaison Services (FLS). The primary goal is to evaluate the agreement between information collected by Dora and that gathered by a clinician during a standard phone appointment. The study will also assess the feasibility, safety, and acceptability of integrating Dora into the FLS patient journey. Participants will receive a call from Dora in addition to their standard clinician phone appointments. The data from both interactions will be compared to assess agreement. The study aims to determine if Dora can be a useful tool to supplement standard care in FLS pathways. The secondary goal of the study is to assess the safety and acceptability of Dora for use in the FLS pathway.
