Research summary
The project aims to understand the experiences of using a compassionate listening service, for example a Birth Afterthoughts service from a range of women across Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, and Doncaster. It is expected that 20 women will complete a one-off 20-30 minutes interview exploring the reason(s) they were referred to the service, how many sessions they were offered, their experiences of the service, whether it resolved the issue(s) they attended with. Results will help to improve service provision for women and understand their experiences using these services.
