Research summary
Participants in EDP's Peninsula Alcohol and Violence Programme will be assessed pre and post programme and at three months follow up. Self report measures will be used to assess alcohol expectancies and efficacy, anger, impulsivity and alcohol related aggression. Focus groups and a Likert scale will also be used to assess treatment engagement and acceptability. Psychiatric illness and previous experience of head injury will also be assessed pre-programme in order to provide information about the influence of these areas on engagement and progress.
