• Research summary

  This registry has been designed to collect real world data on the current treatment of Infective Endocarditis. It is a prospective multi-centre observational study of patients presenting to the echocardiographic or imaging department for definite infective endocarditis. Data on morbidity and mortality will be recorded at 1 month, 12 months and 2, 3, and 4 years after. Standard management of patients will be performed as per routine clinical practice. The follow ups will be performed either by telephone or in clinic depending on the patient preference. No specific protocols or recommendations for evaluation, management and/or treatment will be out forth during this observational study
