  • Research summary

This study aims to explore the benefit of job security on employees’ health and wellbeing after a heart attack. Fear of job loss and job loss are risk factors for heart attack recurrence. The goal is to understand how and the extent to which job security and employment protection help employees to have a balanced and healthy working life and protect them from being at risk of heart attack recurrence. The focus is on employees who had a heart attack in the past and returned to work. This study will help inform current employment protection policies and practice, and tackle the impact of job insecurity.
