Research summary
The study aims to test a device to help people with Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) who have difficulty in performing some daily tasks due to arm muscle weakness. The eNHANCE prototype device currently consists of 2 modules: the eye tracking system and robotic arm support. This innovative device uses eye movements to control the movement of the robotic arm support via a special pair of modified eye tracking “spectacles”. The aim of the study is to determine whether the eNHANCE eye tracking robotic arm works in people with DMD and assess its safety and user friendliness. This study will guide the next step in the development of the device. The system will ultimately enable you to reach and grasp more effectively during daily activities.
Each participants will be invited to attend one evaluation session lasting approximately 4 hours.REC name
