  • Research programme

The EMR Biobank will support research in the following areas - inflammatory and musculoskeletal diseases including: RA and inflammatory arthritis, Sjogren's, SLE, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, OA, hard and soft tissue injuries (such as meniscal lesion, chondral defects and ligament and tendon injury), immunological and genetic mechanisms of disease. The research will involve identification of tissue and peripheral blood biomarkers of disease evolution and response to treatment and multi-omic analyses.
