Non-sensitive health records. data is stored on an approved secure data centre in a nuclear bunker in Kent. This data centre has N3 firewalls and is ISO27001 compliant and IG SOC compliant. This data centre is already used for applications on LOT1 and LOT2 framework. Full details at www.prescribingservices.org. All extractions are appropriately encrypted. Do not contain personal identifiable information and are securely transferred to the data centre in accordance with NHS-digital best practice
Research programme
The secure centralised database is already used to ensure safer prescribing in primary care. This will have the potential to facilitate and support clinical and academic research programs to further improve the safety of prescribing
