Research summary
The Uventa Ureteric stent is a new Metallic ureteric stent. It is designed to provide a long term benefit to patients with malignant and recurrent benigh ureteric strictures. The aim of this study is to evaluate its role in ureteric obstruction caused by malignancy.
The study has been designed to assess the ease of stent insertion, it's efficacy and the feasibility to remove it if necessary. This has not been done in the Western hemisphere. The stent is also claimed to be cost effective. The study will evaluate these issues.REC name
