  • Research summary

This study is aimed at assessing the utility of dynamic ultrasound scanning (USS) in patients with clinically suspected impingement syndrome, and the relevance of findings of dynamic USS. We hypothesize that findings of increased bursal thickness and dynamic impingement correlate poorly with clinical diagnosis of impingement as they are present in a large proportion of normal asymptomatic shoulders.
