• Research summary

  In this project we aim to understand inflammatory process in dialysis patients. We will collect blood samples from patients and study the components of these blood samples in the laboratory. We have a particular interest factors in the circulation that affect arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs) and grafts (AVGs), used to provide access to the circulation for haemodialysis. The patients we collect samples from will include, though will not be limited to dialysis patients undergoing procedures on AVFs and AVGs
