Research summary
This study will involve non-invasive observation of diabetes care in clinical and hospital environments by healthcare professionals. The study aims to improve the understanding of current workflows and methodologies in diabetes care in as natural a setting as possible. The study will have a focus on understanding the flow and interpretation of data generated during diabetes care such as continuous glucose monitoring. The findings of the study will be used to better understand the needs of healthcare professionals and their patients in the area of diabetes care. This understanding will be used to improve the design of devices and systems for diabetes care in the future. The study will not involve any intervention or deviation of the diabetes care given by healthcare professional involved.
