Research summary
The University of Lincoln, in collaboration with the Tanglewood Care Homes Group, will construct and evaluate a research model that will see care home residents, staff and relatives, embedded into the development, design and delivery of an action research programme to explore and improve older people’s transitions into care homes.\n\nThis will be undertaken in partnership with the wider framework of external collaborators, including Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust and Lincolnshire ENRICH (Enabling Research in Care Home network) both of whom will provide a further level of advice and support to the programme and by which we will share the on-going findings of the project to the wider health and care community.\n\nA Research Fellow will be employed by the University of Lincoln, but will spend the majority of their time (four days a week) based within Tanglewood Care Homes where they will be supported by named Tanglewood link staff and by their Academic Supervisor (Ray).
