Research summary
The repeatability of the performance of daily disposable contact lenses is critical for their long-term acceptance, as wearers experience a new pair of contact lenses every day. Any day-to-day variation in the performance of a daily disposable lens is therefore a critical factor of contact lens acceptance. The objective of the study will be to compare the performance characteristics of two types of daily disposable contact lenses that are commonly prescribed in the United Kingdom with special emphasis on any day-to-day variation. This will be achieved by tracking the satisfaction of contact lens wearers over a one month period using surveys that are completed at the end of the wearing day.
