Data collection arrangements
This database will store information about the interactions patients have with Cumbria Health that will include time, location, duration, type of consultation, the outcome of satisfaction questionnaires, reasons for interactions and their outcomes.
These data are collected as part of the usual process of record-keeping within Cumbria Health and via questionnaires completed by patients following their interaction with the service.Research programme
The delivery of Urgent Primary Care whilst not new has only recently started to be subjected to research as a subspecialist area of primary care delivery in its own right. We are not aware of any similar research database. Developing a better understanding of how Urgent Care is accessed and delivered will help providers of this care to refine and improve the quality and efficiency of service and care that they deliver.
