    The underlying mechanisms of muscular damage that occurs in critical limb ischaemia remain relatively undetermined. This study aims to explore the differences in muscle fibre type, metabolism, and angiogenesis in muscle samples of patients with critical limb ischaemia and muscle samples of patients who do not.
