• Data collection arrangements

  The data will be collected by the exercise physiologist, as part of standard clinic service, and involves no extra investigations or tests. The following data will be entered on to the REDCap database: data gathered during the exercise test in the MetaSoft database; and information documented on the 'UCL CPET Data Entry Form, this includes, proposed surgery and operative group; medical history and medications; spirometry, functional and cardiac risk measures; hospital length of stay outcome. Additional patient data may be added to the database in the future, as deemed relevant by the clinical service.
