  To evaluate the safety and functional performance of the Evolution Medial Pivot (eMP) total knee replacement, specifically focussing on early recovery in comparison with patients who have received a non-medial pivot design. Patients recruited will have the function and stability of their knees measured using validated outcome measure scores at designated points pre and post-operatively and by using a device that measures ligament laxity at the final one year review.
