Research summary
This research is a multi-centre review of case notes of patients who have both diagnoses of at least one skin cancer and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. Case notes will be reviewed by the medical teams who are responsible for the care of patients who have both of these conditions between 2005 and 2015. Individuals will be identified from their pathological records. Information about their conditions and their outcomes will be recorded. The information provided about individuals will be anonymised and then collated so that a dataset can be analysed. We hope that this this will provide important information about the outcomes for the two conditions occurring in the same patient and may help to determine how best to provide treatment for them in the future.
